Mirror Mirror on the Wall this is What I’m Grateful for…NOW!
I woke up this morning with the intention of writing this post about the things I am grateful for in 2007, however before I got to that part of my day I read an article about Scripting. I love receiving exactly what I need to support my intention, Synchronicity is such a gift! Thanks Universe!
Scripting is dialogue in the present tense and expressing the words and feeling them NOW. It is the verbal extension of what I’m doing with my LOA weight loss, and by the way what a great feeling getting up this morning (see A Weighty issue)! So scripting is talking out loud about things in the present tense (that you want to have happen). What a brilliant tool to add to my vibration!
Immediately I recalled another tool that many years ago I was introduced to called, “Mirror work”, the process of speaking affirmations into a mirror and holding your hand gently over your throat, to feel the words, and repeating the affirmation until you no longer resisted it and believed it! This proved to be a very emotional and powerful process.
So to the bathroom for privacy I went and this is a couple affirmations I shared with myself and the Universe.
I am so Grateful NOW that I am at my most perfect and healthy body weight.
I am so Grateful NOW that my body is strong, healthy and flexible.
This is big stuff for me, and I can hardly type I’m so excited! On my recent birthday I had a couple hours to myself and I spent it cutting out pictures to make a vision board. The next day I read an article about how sometimes our goals can seem more like a dangling carrot to the donkey rather than a motivator. If those things are always in the future is it possible that some may keep them there rather than making them present? If they are always in the future, which is contrary to me when I’m Ms. Instant Gratification how will I know once I get there? Therefore this is the most perfect and benevolent gift/tool for me.
What can you be Grateful for NOW, remember FEEL what that feels like to have it NOW. You may have to roll your eyes a few times to get passed the potential irony but why NOT? Better question WHY NOT NOW?
So rather than Happy New Year! I wish you Happy New NOW!

Me & the Bagua
- Knowledge & Self Cultivation
- Health & Family
- Wealth & Prosperity
- Fame & Reputation
- Love & Relationships
- Children & Creativity
- Helpful People & Travel
- Career
- Center
In traditional Feng Shui getting rid of the things that no longer serve you is one of the best ways to get the ch'i or life energy flowing.
Today I awoke with chest congestion and an overall feeling of lethargy, the bagua also teaches me that the chest would be found in the Children & Creativity area of my home.
This area happens to correspond with my laundry area, the one area that has a tendancy to be the dumping ground for things that have no real home. It is a small area that also serves as the entrance from the garage, and is a very high traffic area. Subsequently my furnace/utility area in the basement also corresponds to this gua. And even though I recently purged a great deal of stuff from there, as I prepare to bring down the Xmas decoration I expect there will be much more that I can release with Love!
This is where I shall begin...and with each thing I let go of I am visualizing my chest releasing as well and am creating space for more creativity in my life.

A Weighty Issue!
What would it feel like if I were to wake up tomorrow and not think about my weight?
What would it feel like to look in the mirror and see myself in my body at my most perfectly healthy weight?
What would it feel like?
One thing I must clarify is that I don’t think about my weight when I get up in the morning, I doesn’t weigh on my mind really at all, I don’t weigh myself, count calories, or count points, I eat what I want and since the middle of November thoughts about my weight have become more prevalent. But like the millions of people that wake up tomorrow, whether its January 1st or not, what is going to be different for me? How can I keep that feeling? What can I do to keep motivated?
How can I attract the most perfect feeling to support me daily, weekly and heck lets even add support me at every mouthful.
According to the Law of Attraction what we resist persists, so if I’m resisting the thought of being more mindful about what I eat and being more mindful about my weight then really it’s a draw right? So what is my motivation?
Well for me I watched the commercial in my mind again but replaced the celebrity with my own self. I’m going to replay that at every opportunity because if I truly feel what it feels like to be at my perfectly healthy body weight, then the choices I make about food will support that.
So here is my plan:
First of all, I weighed myself. I banished scales from my life for many many years but 2 years ago bought one and it gave me a certain feeling of satisfaction to learn that I had only gained a couple pounds in the last year, despite it feeling like 20! And I signed up on a website that will help me track my progress www.weighttracker.info .
So once a week I will weigh myself and track my literal progress, in the meantime and in between time, I’m going to visualize what number will be on the scale daily before my weigh in and I’m going to feel what it feels like to have attained that number.
De-cluttering is a huge part of this for me. Not only am I going to work to de-clutter my mind of any thoughts that do not align with my efforts and be mindful of the chatter , and replace them with positive affirming statement that support me. As well, I’m going to use my knowledge of Feng Shui to get the energy moving in my home to both energetically and environmentally to support my efforts.
And so it begins… my intention is to Create Space in my own body and in my own physical spaces!

A Present to Myself!
I've had a life long desire to write, to share my thoughts and insights with those who would read them, however it has always been much safer not to put myself out there in that way. And so I weighed the risk of creating this blog, that potentially no one would read, and I also considered how rewarding it would be to create this blog share my thoughts and insights regardless of whether or not any one person would read! So There!
My intention is to share my personal application and experiences with Feng Shui, the Law of Attraction, and life.
This is my present to myself, my means of attracting what I want into my life, celebrating and being grateful for the things that no longer serve me, sharing inspirations, and motivating my spirit!
Namaste!
